40+ years’ experience conducting large-scale public opinion, consumer, and employee surveys (including Internet, telephone, and in-person surveys).
Been retained by public agencies, nonprofit organizations, private companies and law firms.
Designed and directed well over 700 surveys, including more than 300 surveys in legal cases.
Testified on behalf of plaintiffs and defendants in proceedings before state and federal courts and other tribunals (including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office and the U.S. International Trade Commission).
Routinely been qualified by courts as an expert in survey methodology, including in high-profile cases concerning Napster, Princess Diana’s estate, Eminem, Dr. Dre, and Bob Marley.
Frequently lectured before bar associations, trade associations, business and law schools and served on the faculty of CLE programs.
Been elected to the boards of the Council of American Survey Research Organizations (CASRO) and American Association for Public Opinion Research (AAPOR).
Served on editorial boards for several journals and authored articles on trademark surveys and survey methods.
